It was a memorable morning at the 16th Annual Remembrance Day Breakfast at the Adelaide Convention Centre, to honour the service and sacrifice of Australia’s defence personnel, both past and present.
We were pleased to welcome Governor of South Australia Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Minister for Veteran Affairs Hon Geoff Brock, and Major General Cheryl Pearce AM CSC amongst the dignitaries.
Keynote speaker Dr Dan Pronk enlightened the audience on ‘the thriving veteran’ with a discussion around a few of the psychological factors that are crucial to be aware of, and to do well, in transition out of the military.
The audience was also moved and inspired by navy veteran Matt Brumby’s story, which was shared via video on the theme ‘ strength for tomorrow’. Take a look below.
