Honouring our veterans: A morning of reflection and remembrance

Remembrance Day 2024 VIP

More than 420 people paid their respects at MESHA’s 17th Annual Remembrance Day Breakfast at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

A key event on the SA calendar, the Breakfast provided a special opportunity for people to come together to acknowledge the men and women who have served or continue to serve our country.

Her Excellency Governor Frances Adamson AC, Premier Peter Malinauskas, Minister for Veterans Affairs Hon Joe Szakacs MP, and other dignitaries were all in attendance alongside current and former serving Defence personnel.

Keynote speaker Commodore Peter Scott CSC RAN (Retired) gave a moving presentation on his esteemed 34 year career as a submariner, as well as his life ‘beyond the uniform’.
