Service men unite for ANZAC Day

ACES team ANZAC Day

The best of Australia’s emergency services and Australian Defence Force (ADF) will face off once again at Adelaide Oval as this year’s curtain raiser to the AFL’s ANZAC commemorative round.

It will be the 20th year the Australian Combined Emergency Services (ACES) play against the ADF All Stars in the ANZAC Day Challenge.

The match will take place on Saturday 26 April at 12:25pm prior to the Port Adelaide V North Melbourne match and will be raising awareness of mental health for all service members.

Since 2019, MESHA has proudly sponsored the ACES team, which includes fire, ambulance, police and corrections footballers from around Australia.

MESHA’s Program Director Dr Karen May said: “Once again MESHA is thrilled to support the ACES team during one of the most important rounds of AFL.”

“The significance of this round is to come together and commemorate those who made the ultimate sacrifice and we acknowledge our active service men and women who put their lives on the line for the safety of our communities and country.”

A huge thanks to Clarke Energy who will be supporting this match.
