Sharing lived experiences

Supporters, industry partners, staff and students came together to enjoy MESHA’s annual Morning Tea at the Torrens Parade Ground on 26 September.

MESHA Chair Andrew Mannix welcomed guests, including Department of Veteran’s Affairs Deputy Commissioner Janice Silby.

Associate Director Karen May hosted a panel of three guest speakers, including Dennis Taylor (GEARS facilitator), Oliver Andrews (StoryRight facilitator) and Trevor Shinnick (research participant) with assistance dog Sophie.

Art Therapist Kaz Pedersen from the Centre for Creative Health also brought in a display of Veteran artwork.

Thank you to all who attended.
